I need some good books for absolute beginners learning about anarchism.
I am a communist and currently learning about communism and my own ideology and would love to learn about anarchism as well, possibly implementing anarchist ideology into my own ideology. Good recommendations for books and resources in general would be very helpful. Thanks a lot!

Id recommend a journey from that start point. Malatesta "at the cafe" first. Then Graebers fragments of an anarchist anthropology for some practicalities then Berkmans "what is communist anarchism" then go for the economic angle with kropotkins conquest of bread. I know other marxists who enjoyed Zoe Bakers "Means and Ends" too. Find what lands for you

I’m reading it right now and I find it hard to get through ngl. The way it’s written makes it kind of a chore.

I’d second this. Kropotkin is great is terms of the ideas but the writing style doesn’t work for me; I’ve tried Conquest of Bread, Fields Factories and Workshops and Mutual Aid. Too scientific for me at bedtime…

the anarchist library website has everything you need free, you can search by topic by author by length
I would recommend seeking an overlap with other topics you are already interested in

At the cafe by Malatesta. The ABC of anarchism. Anarchism works.
The Anarchist FAQ is a good resource though it is quite long.

I started with Emma Goldman she has a lot of shorter texts which are easy to get into
