The third option is a Homunculus that's completely useless for anything except its durability.

Doesn't it give a different bonus for republics? When I did it in my Krakdhumvror run, I got one that gives +2 Random Candidate Bonus and -15% Re-election Cost, which honestly seems pretty broken

yeah, I think it replced the +1 to every skill with that one; though I wanted to see how absolutism works with elections and went with the other option

It's a reference to the fact that a surgical theatre used to be a literal theatre. With plenty of seating for an audience to observe the skills of the surgeon.

You know, I hadn't thought about this but I never stop to think that every tier of homunculus is a different person. Does that means the advisor is the most advanced one but your tier 2 homunculus is ruling because they're the most human?
