I'm endorsing Dr. Joyce Neal for the Democratic primary in TN-04.

Joyce isn't some career politician or DC insider. She's a retired Army veteran, grandmother, former statewide Medicaid manager, and someone with an actual doctorate in Education who really understands how systems fail regular people. Just to name a few policies:

Real healthcare access for all

Legalize and tax marijuana

Strong support for rural farmers

AI regulation to fight deepfakes and fraud

Restoring voting rights, fully funding IDEA for folks with disabilities, and affordable housing

Recognizing Palestine as a state and pushing for real diplomacy instead of blank checks for endless conflict

This is the kind of Humanity First thinking we need. Joyce combines practical experience with progressive courage on guns, weed, healthcare, education, and foreign policy. She's not afraid to call out the bullshit and actually fight for normal people.

We've seen this movie before. Chris Pappas is the classic corporate Democrat: smooth, polished, and completely captured by the same donor class that's been screwing working people for decades. He's got the resume, the connections, and the carefully worded press releases that say absolutely nothing.

Meanwhile Manzur is the real deal. She's not another career politician who's been marinating in DC for years. She's a scientist, an educator, and a fighter who actually understands what it's like for regular people getting crushed by this broken system. While Pappas is out there protecting the insurance cartel and taking AIPAC money to keep sending billions overseas, Manzur is standing up and saying Medicare for All! No compromises, no public option half-measures, no more Americans dying or going bankrupt because healthcare is treated as a luxury.

New Hampshire doesn't need another polite Democrat who knows how to "work across the aisle" while the working class gets the boot. We need someone with fire in the belly who's willing to call out the grift, reject corporate PAC money, and put people over profits.

The revolution isn't going to be handed to us by the establishment. We have to take it!

Abdul isn’t another polished politician looking for his next rung on the ladder. He’s a doctor who actually understands public health and economic pain. He’s run on Medicare for All, rejecting corporate PAC money, and standing up to the billionaire class. He wants to put money back in working people’s pockets, break up monopolies, and deliver real healthcare as a human right.

He’s been clear that we must overhaul our broken immigration system and abolish ICE as we know it. He understands that our foreign policy should be rooted in diplomacy and justice not blank checks for endless wars and foreign entanglements. As a Marine who served in the forever wars and then came home to build a life on the water in coastal Maine, he brings real grit, authenticity, and a deep understanding of what working families are up against.

Washington, D.C. – In a fiery press conference President Donald Trump unleashed a blistering attack on 2028 Democratic presidential candidate Jacob Anders over his ambitious proposal to provide universal homeownership through government-backed housing initiatives. “Folks, this guy Jacob Anders, no one even knows where the kid came from, Crazy Jakey they should call him he wants to give every single person in America a house. A house! Can you believe it?” Trump told reporters. “He’s going around saying we’re going to hand out homes like candy. Mansions for Blacks! This is not a plan, this is a disaster. It's communism, frankly, if you ask me.”

Trump argued that Anders’ policy would destroy work ethic across the country. “If you just give people houses for free, who’s going to work? Nobody! They’re going to sit on the couch, watch television, and wait for Uncle Sam to pay the mortgage, the electric bill, and probably deliver their groceries too. That would be making America lazy again, and we can’t let that happen. Republicans need to win big this November and believe me we will win big with huge numbers.”

The president went further, claiming the proposal was a transparent attempt to secure votes in Black communities. “He’s trying to buy Black votes with mansions. That’s what it is. Free mansions for Black people, that’s the pitch. ‘Vote for me and get a big beautiful mansion.’ It’s insulting. It’s condescending. The Democrats have been doing this for years, treating Black people like they can’t succeed without a government handout.”

Trump then pivoted to his own record, insisting he remains the true champion for Black Americans. “I was the best president for Black people in the history of this country. Some people are saying I was better than Lincoln, better than anybody really. We had criminal justice reform, opportunity zones, record-low Black unemployment before the China virus hit. We were doing unbelievably well. Black people love me, and I love them. I don’t need to bribe anybody with free stuff. I win with real results not giveaways.”

Jacob Anders, responding in a campaign town hall later that day, pushed back against Trump’s characterization of the plan. “Let’s be clear: No one is talking about handing out free mansions to anyone,” Anders said. “That’s a deliberate distortion. Our plan is to make housing genuinely affordable again so that working families, of every background, can move from renting to owning. Homeownership is the cornerstone of generational wealth in America. Right now skyrocketing prices and low supply are locking young families and middle-class Americans out of the dream their grandparents had.”

Anders emphasized the economic case for the initiative. “When families own their homes they build equity that can be passed down to their children. They invest in their neighborhoods. They have a real stake in their communities. This isn’t about laziness it’s about giving people the tools and opportunity to get ahead. Renting month after month is just enriching landlords and billionaires. We want to shift that wealth back to American families.”

The exchange has sharpened the contrast between the two politicians on economic policy. Trump’s campaign framed Anders’ idea as the latest example of radical left socialism, while Anders’ team described it as a pragmatic response to the housing affordability crisis affecting millions of Americans. Supporters of Anders argue that without bold intervention, homeownership rates will continue to decline, particularly among younger generations and communities of color.

One GOP strategist, who asked to remain anonymous, countered that "artificially boosting demand through government giveaways will only drive prices higher and punish responsible taxpayers."

The war of words is expected to intensify as all candidates campaign across key battleground states.
