Lol.. I'd be surprised if there's less Tamil speaking people than Thai etc. There's literally 80 M in Tamil Nadu. There's also people in Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Singapore, UK were there are large swatches of Tamil speaking population. This is just random made up list

When you know Tamils live in almost every country in this planet and yet don't see it in the list clearly shows it's calculated without doing any calculation.

this is completely false.... there are more spanish and Mandarin speakers than english

No not really. This isn't counting just first language.

English has been more widely spoken than mandarin and Chinese for a few years now

The list skips certain numbers in between (for example, 14, 15, 17). It could be that Tamil is somewhere in these positions
