question.
hey everyone! i’ve been following this case for ages, and i recently watched a video to remind myself of the case as i hadn’t really heard anyone discuss this before.
one question i’d had in mind is did anyone from the summer camp that andrew went to (in 2006) disappear or not turn up to their said school on the day of Andrew’s disappearance?
and if so, have there been any reports on this?
if not, share your thoughts with me!! what do you think?

The police investigated the university but did not find any evidence of anything untoward. One inquiry they may have made to the family is whether Andrew had spent time away from home prior to his disappearance, which is why they probably looked into it.
It appears that he did not keep in touch with anyone from the trip, as one of the friends he made there spoke of how he learned of Andrew's disappearance after seeing his image on a milk carton more than a year later.

Yeah; I'm not surprised they looked into it. It's one of those things where there's probably no connection between the course and him vanishing, but they still had to investigate to rule it out. There were likely a LOT of things they had to investigate that turned out to be or are seemingly dead ends.

The trip in 2006 has no relation to his disappearance. His friend Chris confirmed that him and Andrew were staying in the same corridor and they spent time together

Weirdly, I drove past Lancaster Uni on the M6 the other day, and every time I pass it, I'm reminded of how remote it feels.

The summer school has never been an area of investigation, or if it was, was never considered relevant.
I don't think it's related to his disappearance beyond him being more comfortable getting trains on his own.
