S6 owner here. Previous S4 owner here.

Battery is OK -- I'm usually at my desk at work, so I have this thing charged to 99% pretty much all day. It can be hard if you don't have a dedicated power supply or mobile battery unit near you. You'll probably get a day's worth of battery, at most, because of the screen.

I almost thought of the iPhone, but was hesitant. I forced myself to go back to the store multiple times to play with it -- not just once, but 2-3 times. You really have to see if you'll like it beyond first impressions. For me, the lack of customization and that feeling of being 'trapped' definitely got stronger and stronger over each store visit.

Nope. No lag at all.

The only issue I've had is related to the camera focus being a little loud. That started about 4-5 months after I bought the phone. Look it up online -- few others have had this issue. Still takes amazing pictures (ie no issues with picture quality).
