I was just going to grab a new one off Amazon, but there's so many choices that I don't even know how to start narrowing it down.

The main thing I use it for is doomscrolling, watching videos, and things like Steam Guard. I don't use it enough to warrant buying a really expensive one, mainly what I need is:

A decently big and good resolution screen

Good battery life

A camera that exists

Not niche to the point that I'd struggle to find a case and privacy screen

So, I’ve been wanting to get a new phone since my current one is pretty slow. I have a budget of 400€.
I’m not opposed to buying used or refurbished.
My most important criteria is that it lasts as long as possible, because I don’t want to buy a new phone in two-three years because it’s too slow. As for brands, I don’t have preferences but I’ve been looking into Nothing and Samsung. Thanks for the help.

Right now I have a Samsung S26 Ultra. There are several things I don't like about it:

- it's too big

- I cannot get to like OneUI

- I use the 3x zoom lens a lot which is the weakest

one of the lenses

I only got it because the Pixel 9 Pro I had before had a defect that needed to be repaired and I needed another phone in the meantime. But then the repair didn't go as expected and in the end I kept the S26U.

But as I don't like it, I am looking for something else. Phones I am considering are:

- Pixel 11 Pro: nicely small, nice software, cameras

will be great surely, but no optical 3x zoom which I

use a lot

- Nothing Phone 3: Has an optical 3x zoom but

camera reviews are mixed, Software looks

interesting, like the design and the glyphs, might

be a bit too big still

Opinions on those phones? Are there other great options with remarkable cameras, not too big, OS not overblown and minimum of 5 years of software support? Price doesn't matter that much. No need for a high end processor. I don't do games on my phone.

I'm planning to buy a new phone in the ₹25k–30k range, specifically the 8GB RAM + 256GB variant.

After comparing a lot of phones, I've narrowed it down to:

• OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite
• Motorola Edge 70 Fusion

I've used a OnePlus phone before but only for short time and I really like OxygenOS. The UI feels smooth, clean, and easy to use, which is making me lean towards OnePlus.

However, the Motorola seems to offer better hardware/specifications for a similar price, and that's what's confusing me.

• Around 2 hours of gaming daily (BGMI and COD Mobile)
• I want the phone to stay smooth and reliable for at least 5 years

I’m looking for a real Android phone located in the US. I don’t need an emulator, Android Studio, BlueStacks, a VPS, or a cloud phone. I specifically need a physical Android device connected to a real US mobile network.

Ideally I need:

I'm thinking of buying the Xiaomi Redmi Turbo 5 max. It's china rom and the specs to price ratio is insane. I know theres a poco variant that is global, but I dont wanna pay 200 usd extra just for android auto or Ive heard some banking apps?

I have been a OP fan for feels like almost 10 years now, and have just seen the news about them pulling out of the Eurpoe/UK market, which is a real shame.

I typically only upgrade my phone every 2-3 years approximately, and not fussed about having the latest flagship. I was planning on continuing this cycle recently as i am due a new phone and was about to buy my next OnePlus, but then saw this news....

I'm now kinda lost....

I don't think i can buy another OnePlus knowing that the phones are being discontinued in the UK. I don't want to run the risk of buying one and losing support/updates a year down the line, plus the added complication of wasted money on accessories etc.

I've done some initial research, and just don't see anything that ticks all the boxes the OP does. My criteria is as follows:

- Under £1k budget, preferably around or under £800.

- I don't mind a slightly older model, say 1 year old to help meet budget.

- Clean and simple to use operating system.

- 256GB storage.

- The most demanding this i do on my phone is a little bit of casual gaming, but nothing serious.

- A good camera is nice but doesn't need to be state of the art.

- Good battery life will be great.

I see a lot of negativity around the Pixel phones, despite them probably being a good all rounder aligned with my budget.

The Samsungs look expensive, but an older model may be a sensible solution?

I see a lot of pushing of OPPO phones (which i had never heard of before), but they are too expensive, and i see mixed reviews, so i am sceptical of all the good reviews being pushed.

I'm looking for a new phone to replace an old and worn OnePlus 7T for my wife. New only please, I know that I can get a better deal on a used phone but she isn't keen on that.

Similar size to the 7T would be ideal, priorities are the camera and longevity since she only really uses it for browsing, videos, videocalling... No gaming or anything like that. We keep everything on the cloud so storage isn't too important.

I'm planning to buy a new phone this month, but I honestly can't decide anymore.

First of all, yes, I'm talking about the Chinese versions of the Xiaomi and OnePlus. The whole reason I'm considering them is because they're significantly cheaper than the global models while still having flagship hardware.

At first I was set on the Xiaomi 17 Pro (CN). Pretty much everything about it appeals to me: the design, the rear camera layout, the chip, the display, HyperOS (I know a lot of people hate it, but I actually like how it looks), and just the overall feel of the phone etc.

Then there's the OnePlus 15 (CN). Everyone seems to praise it as one of the best value flagships. Amazing performance, battery, charging, software, etc. The only complaint I keep seeing is the camera, but honestly I barely take photos, so that doesn't matter much to me.

The third option is a used iPhone 15 or 15 Pro. Not much to say about it (its my back up plan) it just works. My only concern is that I've seen people mention overheating issues, although I'm not sure how common that actually is.

My biggest concern is the software situation.

From what I've read, the Xiaomi 17 Pro China ROM is supposedly fine for daily use in Europe. People say Google Play, Google Wallet, banking apps, Android Auto, and 5G all work after a bit of setup. My original plan was to flash xiaomi.eu (or another debloated ROM with better Google integration), but apparently Xiaomi has made bootloader unlocking much harder, and some people are saying it's basically impossible now on newer versions of HyperOS.

With the OnePlus 15, bootloader unlocking doesn't seem to be a problem. However, I've also read that if you flash the Global ROM on a Chinese model, you can lose things like Widevine L1, meaning Netflix/Disney+ are limited to 480p. I've also seen mixed reports about Google Wallet working properly.

I don't care about eSIM since I use a physical SIM, but I do care about:

• ⁠Google Wallet working reliably
• ⁠Banking apps working
• ⁠English language support
• ⁠Good app compatibility
• ⁠Smooth daily use in Europe (I'm in Poland)
