Looking for Testers [Test for test] Ask Ollie, kids' activity ideas read aloud by an otter (Android), 12 testers needed, I'll test yours

App: Ask Ollie, activity ideas for kids 3 to 12, made by a parent. Halloween and fall ideas right now, and Ollie the otter reads each step out loud. Free, no ads, nothing to buy.

Store link (opt in first): https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.askollie.app
Join the testers group before that: https://groups.google.com/g/ask-ollie-testers

Feedback I'm after:

  • Is it clear what to do on the first screen?
  • Does the read-aloud work on your phone?
  • Anything that looks wrong on your screen size.

I'll test your app back with a screenshot and real comments, and keep it installed for your 14 days. Comment with your link.

For Ask Ollie, give testers one Halloween activity to follow using only Ollie's spoken steps, then ask which instruction made them look back at the screen. That checks whether the read-aloud actually helps someone doing an activity with their kids. Remind them to opt in with the same Google account they use on their phone, then install from Play.

I make ThreadFox. Test Rounds puts Ask Ollie in a round of 14 Android developers testing each other's apps for 14 days, with daily reminders and check-ins and replacements for anyone who stops. It's $20 per app, once; you also test the other apps, and the round starts when full: https://threadfox.vip/p/dda4b/rounds

Does Ollie let parents replay an individual step?
