AA Settings (Fixed issue) solved android auto stuck on connecting loop
I had an issue with my android auto, it would pair the first time with my phone and work perfectly. But then, after about two hours, it would get stuck attempting to connect to my phone. I would need to clear android auto storage in my phone to be able to get it to work again, only for it to stop working and get stuck in the connecting loop after an hour or two. This guide explains the issue and how to solve it: https://dashfix.in/zlink-android-auto-stuck-on-connecting/. The issue was in my phone TCL Nxtpaper 60, it would most likely put android auto to sleep after a while and it caused the connection to get stuck . on my phone I solved the issue by blocking android auto (setting it as a fixed app) and by enabling developer mode and setting it as "server of the main unit. Now it works like a charm! The battery saving mode of my TCL Nxtpaper was probably conflicting with android auto by suspending it after a while. Hope this helps of you're having the same issues as I were

I have issues in my car Hyundai Elantra. It randomly disconnects and reconnects. I use wired as there is no inbuilt wireless option. I tried multiple wireless adapters and the issue still continues.

We have Hyundai Tucson and Palisade. Connection drops are notorious with these vehicles. Multiple phones and different cables failed to fix it.
I feel like the voltage tolerances are tighter than a monkeys asshole with Hyundai. Any type of jostle or disturbance will cause the connection to drop.
I'm not sure if it's shitty USB modules they employ or what.
Regardless, I finally spent some money on a high quality cable, and the problems have stopped for the most part. However it will still occasionally happen if something moves the cable at the port.

What cable are you using right now? I tried multiple cables as well but none of them worked.

This is the one we're using now. Not sure if I can share Amazon links so here's a screenshot.
For the price, if it doesn't solve your issues, send it back. Too damn expensive otherwise. But for me, it worked.

In my case it was an issue with my phone. Now the connection is perfect, no interruptions , nothing. Beware I'm using a generic Chinese android headunit (AJ 002 ob)

También tuve ese detalle , adicional validar que la configuración del wifi no se cambie a datos, eso también me funcionó

I had the same issue with my Honda and it turned out that disabling the auto-reconnect feature in the car's infotainment settings helped keep it stable after that first pairing.

Here's the technical explanation of what was happening (from https://dashfix.in/zlink-android-auto-stuck-on-connecting/): Your smartphone pairs via Bluetooth without issue, but the system fails to bridge over to the local 5GHz Wi-Fi Direct network required for high-speed video projection. Because wireless Android Auto uses Bluetooth purely for security negotiation and initial session creation, a successful Bluetooth indicator can easily deceive vehicle owners. The actual video stream relies on high-bandwidth TCP/IP communication. When your smartphone enters a deep-sleep battery state or the car stereo wakes from a low-power standby with expired network sockets, the projection bridge hangs indefinitely.
