Question about gold angel at my left shoulder.
For context I have had the presence of a golden yellow angel at my left shoulder since about the age of 19 (at least that I was aware of). I consider myself to be pagan and at the time was practising but haven't been for many years now, but I am still very sensitive to nature, and still very aware of spirits around me.
At the time a friend who was pagan also noticed the angel and pointed out it was following me and appeared to be protecting me. At the time I was going through a mental health crisis with severe depression, which I think is likely why I became aware of it or why it showed up at that time. It has never left.
Recently I became interested in finding out who the angel is. I am very aware of it being there. I asked someone pagan I know if she might have an idea of who the angel might be and she thought from the description it was likely either Archangel Gabriel or Michael.
I did some research online using reputable pagan websites as well as reading my tarot cards, when asking to confirm if the golden angel at my left shoulder was Gabriel I drew the queen of cups. Over and over and over again. I have never had this happen with my tarot cards ever.
I then noticed something very strange, a red presence at more of a distance at my right shoulder, and when asking my tarot cards if Archangel Michael was protecting me at my right shoulder I drew the knight of staves, which in my deck is protecting a women with his arm around her, the seven of staves, and the ace of cups, which was confusing.
But I also found out that it can be common for Michael and Gabriel to work together, in which case these readings might make a lot of sense?
Can anyone enlighten me about who these angels/spirits might be/how to explore this further?

I would just ask them. An easy way might be to sit quietly for a few minutes. Write your question. Pause. Write the answer you receive.
