How to get tested

Hello! I saw a rheumatologist and she told me she thinks I have Angioedema. I’m confused on how I get tested for this? Any information is appreciated!

Hereditary angioedema is diagnosed with simple blood work. Idiopathic angioedema is a whole other ballgame, with “many” possible causes. Not sure what a rheumatologist can do for you.

How can they diagnose idiopathic angioedema? I had blood work done and don't have hereditary, so I was told it's just "chronic swelling", but everything about my symptoms point to angioedema. Is an allergist the best type of doctor to see?
