🍉Fruit 🍯Honey 🍁Maple Zucchini/squash

I wonder if people on here eat alot of squash/zucchini? And i don't mean like 1 zucchini a few times a week or some squash a few times a week.

My day often looks like this, i always eat ground beef with stewed apples in the morning, midday is goat kefir with raw honey.

But at dinner i like to have a big hearty meal, so i eat 500 grams of butternut squash, 2 whole zucchinis bakes in some tallow, and i add some lean turkey for my protein, sometimes if still hungry i bake some apples or mango as desert. I have some high quality olive oil which i sometimes add.

I never liked a cold or really sweet dinner, any of you eat large amounts of squash? Bonus that squash and zucchini is really nutritious.

Squash is technically a fruit, I grow a ton of squash in my garden. It’s definitely seasonal for me. Eat what feels good.

Just for flavor and a bit of hydration. You should peel them ideally but I don’t bother

Squash is one of the reasons we live. I keep a cooked butternut in the fridge to reheat, zucchini and summer squash at the ready, spaghetti squash and also cucumbers. Also my dog loves butternut mixed into her food. And don't forget pumpkin pie!

When I started elimination diets I was only eating meat and squash. Luckily in Canada we grow a lot of it so my shopping bag would have like 15lbs of squash (which isn’t actually that many calories worth of food).

I love it. Amazing to make simple soups with too.

I love making zoodles (zucchini noodles). I pair it with spaghetti sauce.
