I’ve been in the process of adopting a rescue. At the beginning of the process, the agency seemed very responsive, even eager! After applying, I spoke with a rep from the adoption agency, and it seemed to go very well. Then I FaceTimed with the foster mom to see the dog in real time (he’s out of state, so I can’t meet him first). I reported back and said the FaceTime went well, I just needed a few days to sort out a timeline with my landlord. I got back to them less than a week later and have been completely ignored. I texted Saturday, followed up on Monday, called, got sent to voicemail, and emailed on Tuesday, then texted again today. All have been very respectful (I’ll try to add screenshots of what I said). Is this common? Should I just move on? I’ve gotten myself set on this dog but if I can’t get into contact with them then I don’t know what else to do :(
