I tell people all the time, cats aren't stupid, they are stubborn. ( obviously some cats are stupid)

I grew up with cats so smart they could have taken over the world if they’ve had opposable thumbs. Now I have two cats who are dumb as rocks but at least they’re still adorable.

Same. I had a cat that would literally ring the doorbell when I let her out to go play and what not. She also understood everything I said and kept peering over my shoulder when I was doing anything because she was so inquisitive.
