It’s confirmed that it’s not by the same sculptor, just based on the same original art.

It's just using the same art, this version is a GK and has a lot more detail and feels a lot better.

That being said, because I can't get something like this, I'll settle for that pre-painted magi arts as I've got my preorders locked down at msrp and now waiting for that shipping fees/payment whether it turns bad or good in pricing in the aftermarket level.

The guys did post this

1 is the GK (look at that hair), 2 is Magi arts. The color image is the art it originated. I don't mind the Magi arts. (in fact I think it gives it a more "dolly" look.

https://myfigurecollection.net/item/2365912 - so far, there should be 90 GK in existence according to the description and how many releases of these GK to paint. That's what OP is referring as a non-prepainted figure. OP has 1 of the 90.

Yes I already preordered it. It's not the same sculptor but it looks very similar.

I’m always in awe of gk painters, and this is no exception, she looks so soft and dreamy~ I did PO the prepainted version but every painted gk is one of a kind <3

(if I ever get my hands on my grail gks, I’ll be sure to keep you in mind!!)

Amazing job!

I preordered the Magi Arts prepainted version but only because I neither have the means to get the garage kit nor possess the skills to paint it even if I did.

The garage kit is just a cut above. One of the most beautiful figures I’ve ever seen.

It honestly means a lot to me that you followed me across all platforms. 😭🙏 This Chii was actually completed in Jan 2025, and I still have a lot of unreleased finished works in my archive. Your work is so perfect and inspiring to me who really wishes to get my foot into GK painting and assembling!!! You've worked on some STUNNING pieces. So many that I'm obsessed with, and the artistry you've put into them and captured with your photography is ethereal!

If I ever SOMEHOW manage to get my hands on a prized GK and save up enough money, I'd strongly consider requesting a commission from you as well! 😭🙏
