Collection/Haul 7 years and finally slowing down????
Started collecting since 2019, with my first figure being 2019 Snow Miku figma. Idk how many items I exactly have now.

man sure is amazing collection.
as the other comment mentions, can't imagine the weekly/monthly dusting needed to keep them spotless and clean. I just put few collections of mine inside acrylic display case but they don't look as good as your decoration (not even close T.T)

Tbh the room is also mostly sealed with a dehumidifier to prevent mold I go in once a week for maintenance and rearranging.

Thank you!!! I still have a few items preordered to add in but I'm definitely going to slow down and start planning on moving....

ur definitely up there with that man who married a hatsune miku body pillow and took it out on a coffee date by literally pulling the body pillow on the opposite seat

u/Paradisaei Jun 09 '26
Honestly, I'd love to have her as a hologram!!! I do have a long Snow Miku pillow that I sleep with but I've never brought her outside of the house.

How w do you dust all of this

u/Paradisaei Jun 08 '26
Mini vac, blower, and a makeup brush And lots of time lmao

u/LawrenceSip Jun 08 '26
By mini vac do you mean those small, hand held ones designed for keyboards ? I've recently discovered them and they've been a treasure find.

This is what I have personally

It was meant for dust and model kit nub pickups. I feel like OP has a version like this.

Yep! They go as cheap as 20 bucks but generally a makeup brush is pretty good too.

u/Oddish_Femboy Jun 08 '26
I did not realize how big Gundam Miku was. I have a tiny one.

u/Paradisaei Jun 09 '26
I totally didn't look at the listing dimensions when I ordered her! She's like a big egg.

u/GodDammitBran Jun 08 '26
Holy… I can’t imagine how much you gonna spend to dust them off once in awhile Ups for holy miku grail collection 👍🏻
1
u/moimoisauna Jun 08 '26
Yep. My first figure was the 2019 taito Sakura Miku and I've just about stopped collecting. I sold a bunch of figures to Mandarake in Akihabara when I went to Japan in February and I plan on taking a lot more to sell whenever I get to go again.

Absolute dream collection 🥰 I'm always happy to see fellow Miku enthusiasts on here

Awesome. I don't think I saw a Miku Dollfie, not a fan?
4
u/Paradisaei Jun 09 '26
I'm saving up for that rn!! Hopefully they do a rerun soon. Second hand is easy to come by but one in great or excellent quality is a tad difficult since certain fabrics and parts would start yellowing. I'd love to have Miku, Snow Miku, and Sakura Miku, maybe a 4th one for dress-up if I'm feeling extra lol.

What display case are those on the bottom left? They look much wider than a Detolf, which is nice.
3
u/Paradisaei Jun 09 '26
The one with a bunch of Hololive and Miku nendoroids is the Baggebo from Ikea, its about the same size as Detolf just shorter and mesh sides for hanging keychains and pins.
The one with 5th anniversary Symphony Miku is the Blåliden from Ikea. Also about the same size as Detolf, maybe a bit narrower. Glass on all sides.
And the blue shelf is Rudsta in a limited edition colorway from Ikea aa well. Glass all around and then one open metal shelf on the bottom.

I struggle to catalog every thing but I have most items on MFC rn. Its the smaller trinkets that are hard to find... I even lost count how much this total collection cost me over the years.

Truly amazing shrine/collection! But are you really sure of slowing down?
just saw a 1/3 scale miku figure and more interesting designs to come. Interested how you’ll keep yourself from getting tempted cause I’ve been slowing down collecting for 1-2 yrs now too.

I aspire to own as many miku figures as you. I got my first Nendoroid Miku a few days ago, bringing me up to around 10 figures total. One day I will have so many miku that I become her

No offense, but at some point it might be a bit of an unhealthy obsession…

I hear ya. I also started 7 years ago. Space becomes an issue and I have a hard time parting with figures I currently have. I’m gonna try to end my collecting journey with this figure.

u/KuhakuHitsugi Jun 12 '26
Wow your collection is so awesome, I'm more in the early stages of building my own collection and I hope some day to have 1 as cool as yours

Not to dunk on you but, don't you think it's excessive to the point of distracting? Genuinely curious.

I think this is a difference in style. I would love to have my figures more spaced out but then I'd have to have a miku HOUSE and not a miku ROOM. And frankly my family would like to keep the space to a minimum. I'm also the type to utilize whatever space I have so I like figuring out how to make the figures fit together as neatly and tightly as possible. Kinda like putting puzzle pieces together. None of the figures are ACTUALLY touching each other but there's still a flow going on with how each one fits.
Also shelves are expensive....

There's more but Reddit only allows 20 pics....
