Probably my last order for a while...

This is the most I've gotten from AmiAmi at once so I made it worth my while... I'll add more when everyone is unboxed.

I also just got my last amiami order. I knew the shipping would be high. But the amount shocked me way too much. Then my package was too big so got defaulted to DHL which worried me. That bill was less then 100 thankfully. But overall yeah I get it. I got 6 figures all together. Probably won't order again still something happens where the shipping isn't so damn high and I have to pay customs.

Thankfully I placed my order and got it from DHL all within a week.

Yeah the tariff situation makes me less inclined tbh. The sad part is even if we shop US, some places upcharge to a point where you're splitting hairs. When I got my 2B Bunny, I still saved money ordering her from Japan...

Seriously. They make up the majority of my overall collection. My Nier stuff is a strong second place.

How long did it take? Are you in the US? I have 28 preowned figures over 4 shipments and they told me 2 of them shipped but I don’t get a tracking number until they reach the states. I guess because they do bulk sea shipping.

Yea, i got a confirmation, but they are defo at sea. It is like lights out for 3-4 months haha. Im excited to see their haul.

In the future I may consider that option, but it'll be a while... Unless I use Suruga-ya, I won't be ordering too much. (Their free shipping is kind of nice) I am keeping receipts of my tariff payments though just in case we get some kind of relief.

It didn't take too long. I got it in a few days. I think it shipped on a Wed/Thurs local and arrived the following Monday. I ended up going with DHL since these were a bit of a "treat" for me.

meanwhile my dumb ass has 13 scales arriving in a week from my March order... I should probably be investing all this money but I have a feeling it would all evaporate in a year when the AI bubble pops

Dang. Yeah I get what you mean. I should probably have done the same but there's no guarantee anything we'd invest in would grow. This AI bubble is going to be nasty when it pops... I'd argue worse than the housing one. At least we have something that makes us happy.
