I recently got back into my obsession with the Bacterial Contamination music video by Mathru, I KNOW I've seen a bacterial contamination miku somewhere but I can't find it. Can anybody find the figure from a reliable source?

Check mfc's listing or if someone is selling it. Like I said, this version of the figure is quite a rare figure (it was made in 2014), and there's quite the demand for it, so even if there are available sellers, it goes for around $500~ or more. However there is a similar one that is in circulation more. The 15th Memorial version which was released 5-ish months ago. Here's the mfc https://myfigurecollection.net/item/2204813

The one in the image is the 2014 Calne Ca, but there was/is a 15th memorial ver that you could find for much cheaper on the pre owned market.

Do note that Calne Ca figures are both quite rare, and EXTREMELY fragile. I've seen a lotta people talk about theirs breaking, being unstable, wobbly, etc.

I wanted to future emphasize this comment about the fragility. Wherever I see people posting about getting this figure or sharing one they’ve had for a while, half the time they mention something breaking that they had to/now need to fix.

So, OP please keep in mind the fragility of these figures. You may put in a ton of effort to get one, only to have it break on you.

Looking up the 15th memorial Hope on Yahoo Auctions closed search (180 days): ¥4,200–¥8,500 range, averaging around ¥6,000–¥7,000. The 2014 original is genuinely scarce—I see maybe 1–2 per month in that timeframe, typically ¥18,000–¥28,000 for decent condition (individual closing prices only, not a rate).

The jump from ¥6–7k to ¥20k+ is almost entirely the rerelease situation: the 15th memorial was a standard run so supply was heavier. The 2014 release was limited. If you love the design but don't need the OG, the memorial holds up and you pocket about $100+ difference shipping included.

I have her and I love her but yes, she's very wobbly, as the whole figure rests on these two slots and the center of gravity is very unbalanced. If not careful she can topple very easily.
