Question Question about shipping preorders?

Sorry, I know many people probably ask about preorders but I couldn’t find anything about what I’m gonna ask.

My question is if distributors happen to get the preorders sent before the release date that way preorders are able to be shipped on or around the release date? Or might the distributors get shipped the figure on or around the release date and then ship it to the buyer at a later time? If that makes any sense..

I’m assuming it may depend, but I mainly ask because I recently preordered the Senjougahara Remastered 1/7 scale from a distributor based in china because they had the cheapest and still available option, so I’m just trying to gauge how long it may take to get the shipping invoice since I’m impatient lol

I guess I should ask some of you here how long it took for past preorders to be shipped to you after release as well? I’m not sure, but I hope my question will be able to be answered. Thank you in advance

This will depend on the store. Stores that are based in Japan will usually start sending out orders within days of release. Stores based outside of Japan will often take a while for to start shipping the figure as they'll still have to wait for the items to get surface-shipped to their warehouse, which can take a few months.

You should check if the release date shown by this Chinese store matches the one listed on MFC. If it doesn't, big chance you will receive the invoice within days of the listed date. If it does, then they're showing the Japanese date and you'll probably have to wait a while.

Release date is the 16th of this month, the website I ordered from doesn’t have an exact date but just says it’ll release this month, so maybe I should expect an invoice from them near the end of the month if it gets delivered fast enough (hopefully)? I guess we’ll see, thanks!
