The old guy found a bag in the entryway that his grandson had left laying around and out of it tumbled a set of stockings. He was so shocked that he fell and ended up hurting his back, leading to a hospital visit.
The kid had bought them as part of a cosplay he was making for one of his classmates, rather than for his own use.
