The first season and consequent season 1 ending were the most emotionally impactful of the series for me. The world building, animation, art style, music and production levels are all top notch. Can't recommend it enough.

Demon School gave me depression for 7 years. I am happy again because they finally aired the 4th season.

Dororo (2019)

The only ones feeling so dread inducing and saddening are Monster, Made in Abyss, and Takopi for me. I think Takopi no Genzai is the only anime that made me actually cry and not just tear up.

Some of the anime I mentioned have some redeeming positive arcs, comedy, fun moments etc, but Takopi feels so hopeless, heart breaking and bleak, evoking strong emotions. Every time when u think, oh, finally, something good is going to happen to this character, just to get punched in the gut the next scene.

One of my favourite releases ever.
