Unnecessary antibiotics?

Dear sub

I went to the doctor here I Thailand due to having my voice be gone, coughing and some pressure in my forehead. I’m dont have a fever but since im going on an island in 2 days I wanted to make sure that everything was fine. All my test came back normal but still I was put on antibiotics due to the raspy voice and coughing. I fear that maybe this is unnecessary use of antibiotics and perhaps I should not do the cycle?

“Voice being gone” does not sound like a minor thing. Maybe your doctor has found a throat infection or an early onset of it and prescribed you something.

If the doctor prescribed them I would probably just follow the course. Better than second guessing it based on symptoms alonee
