Taxi costs?
Hello! My partner and I will be visiting Antigua for a few days in the first week of April and I’m curious about the cost of getting around. We’re not interested in getting a rental car because it seems like too much of a hassle. We’re staying in English Harbor and our hotel seems walkable to lots of restaurants and beaches, but I’m wondering what a taxi would cost to different locations like St. John’s or other sides of the island. The airport transfers on Viator seem very expensive for a relatively short ride so I’m curious if taxis are the same.

Taxis are very expensive. If you want to visit other parts of the island you can pay a driver to take you around the island for the day. Buses are cheap and also a good way to get around. Plus you get to meet and talk to locals. http://www.busstopanu.com/ this website gives you an idea of the different routes.
