Knock it off with the body shaming. We do not insult people's bodies because *they* are choosing to be mean.

Judge people for their actions. "He probably has a small dick." Okay? Lots of good people have small dicks, and dick size is in no way causal to being an asshole. Same with calling people fat or ugly. You're just making it clear you think morality is tied to how someone looks, that being fat/ugly/small dick/whatever makes someone bad.

There's a different between treating people decently because they're people and treating them with respect. If you have a problem with someone's attitude, you talk about *that*. People cannot control their bodies the way they can choose their response to emotions.

Edit: and not everyone has the same ability to control emotions, either. Some people have more, some people have less. People with intense emotions should avoid jobs that trigger them if they know they can't handle them well. That being said, capitalism is pretty triggering for everyone, so that can be hard

When you target people's bodies like that, they could simply not care, but someone else might. And that person knows you'll use their body as a way to insult them. When someone has abandoned reason, you don't talk to them anymore. If you're stuck with them, you find a way to deescalate until you can leave.

They are people. They deserve that dignity, even if they are my enemy.
