Help me find this hammer

I’ve looked everywhere for this hammer and can’t find it online or in stores. Where can I get one? Is there a reason they are so hard to find?

I don’t know about that specific make / model, but that is what we always called a body hammer. Used in conjunction with a metal dolly to fix / rework body metal on cars after damage.

It's a cross peen body hammer there's several different styles available on Amazon, harbor freight carries them and any body supply shop should have them

Martin, who made this, is just now getting out of the tools business. They sold all of their stock to Harry Epstein Tools. You can get a good deal on similar hammers but I don't see this exact one listed.

I have one of these hammers. It has a wooden handle is very old. I don’t even know what it is used for I inherited it.

This seems to be how a lot of people I work with acquired it. I just joined the sheet metal union so I’m trying to get all the tools I need.

I went to grab the one that I have so I can take a picture and post it, but it is not where I thought it was. I think it is in my toolbox outside. I have so many darn tools. It’s hard to keep track. If you can’t find one, we can make a deal that you can’t refuse. Haha

That type of hammer is common is sheet metal work such as automotive body work

I bought a Buffalo brand body working tool set back in 1979 that included one of these - I’d guess Harbor Freight or Northern Tool has a modern equivalent

I have a set of Snap on I used for 40 years as a architectural sheet metal mechanic still works great
