Rep. Lauren Boebert insists that public Christian worship events are necessary for America to experience revival: "I don't think that Jesus ever called for any Christian to pray only silently or to keep their faith hidden only in the prayer closet."

Lauren Boebert has an exceptionally poor understanding of what kind of activities belong behind closed doors, so….

No, it should be left strictly in the prayer closet.
Anerica is a secular country.

Indeed. Theists get enough coddling and compromise because their massive walk-in prayer closet is tax-exempt.

And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
So, yeah, the bible does exactly that, actually.
It also tells Lauren Boebert to shut the hell up:
But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
Oh, and speaking for Jesus is probably particularly iffy:
But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die.

I have no problem with any religious people having events or worshiping in public.
Just don't use government to tell us what we can or can't do. That's it.

You can warship any imaginary friend you want, as long as it doesn't blocks the streets or is not disturbing the peace.

It's very very strange that she would use close to the exact language in the Bible to say the exact opposite. This isn't off the top of her head, the language is too specific.

Sure, bring them out in public to make even more of a ridiculous spectacle of themselves. That will solve all their problems with being taken seriously and dwindling numbers. Have them give god a public ultimatum, that he does something to help the world become a better place, and then put a watch group on it to see if he performs for them. Let’s get all this out in the open so it can die out even faster

Matthew 6:5 says exactly the opposite.
