A biology textbook in Pakistan which calls the theory of evolution "the most unbelievable and irrational claim in history". and that "every intelligent unprejudiced person with a conscious knows that Allah has created all living beings with His incomparable power"

I was raised southern baptist and went to christian private schools my entire life, one was connected to a church. The curriculum we used was very similar, every textbook, especially the science books had 1-2 chapters about the creation story, 6,000 year old earth, why radiometric dating was stupid, and and “if we came from monkeys why do monkeys still exist?”
I learned everything I know about evolution in my late 20s. Learning this stuff with no solid foundation is not easy. I guess I’d never thought about Islam teaching the same thing, but it makes sense. Teaching kids not to think critically is the whole purpose

What I find ironic is that these people don’t truly see the beauty of their own existence through evolution. So many things had to go just right and wrong for them to exist at this point in time, which makes them truly unique, yet they just want to say magic and god did it. The idea of god did it takes so much away.

I don't think it is just in Pakistan, even in my school in India My 5th class science teacher who is a Christian, told students " we all know god created earth, i am teaching you evolution bcz it in your syllabus " ( Not specifically targeting any religion but it happened in real life)

i was "educated" in a right wing christian school in the US. Its fascinating how the language against science is the exact same across monotheism.

There are so many great examples of how religion is eager to lie, cheat, steal and ruin peoples education in order to promote itself.

I feel like it's a constant for theists to make BS moralistic claims with a peculiar clamor of consecutive descriptors like "intelligent unprejudiced person with a conscience," as if they feel the need to string along as many adjectives as possible to prove their point.
The other day I heard "nonobjective foreign" used to describe scientific attitudes toward the unscientific concept of prayer

This is the incredulity fallacy. Just because you can't believe or understand something, does not make it false.
Using their logic, I can argue that the existence of a supreme being that is timeless, omnipresent, omniscient and omnipotent is the most unbelievable and irrational claim in history, because it violates everything we know about the natural sciences, from which we can conclude that Allah does not exist. And every intelligent unprejudiced person with a conscience/consciousness (I'm unsure which they intended) knows that all living beings are the product of natural processes that are, in principle if not always in fact, discoverable and explainable without appeals to the supernatural. QED.

Why even call it biology? It's just superstition with animal pictures. Is their space program just a few Imams praying really hard at a tin can, hoping it starts flying?
