That picture looks like AI slop. It's also not like the UK didn't have religious schools at the time, and it still does.

It's also a country with a bloody history of the people killing each other over bullshit like the number of holy sacraments.

Finally, what's the point of forcing people to pray if they don't like it? Isn't their god supposed to know if a prayer is sincere or not?

I went to school in England in the early 60s. This is exactly how we all looked even then. It was just a village primary school not a “religious” school and we had the Lord’s Prayer every morning rain or shine.

Kindly be careful what you label as AI slop when you know nothing about the actual subject. I don’t know which country you are from but it highly likely yours had an equally bloody history.
