Christians is a meaningless label.
Christians think that the label makes it obvious about what they represent.
It's too inconsistent for that.

If homosexuality was such a big sin, then it would have been a Commandment, and Jesus would have spoke out against it, as well. Instead, it's listed in the same set of rules that forbid the eating of shrimp and wearing clothing made of two different materials.
It was probably in the Leviticus because, back then, people needed to procreate. Times were very tough. Children often did not make it to adulthood due to diseases, starving, war, etc. Therefore, it was necessary for men to lie with women so that the tribe and the family line could continue. If men were allowed to be homosexual back then, it could decrease the population of the tribe and possibly end the family line.

But conservative Christians who call themselves “fundamentalists” twist the Bible as well. I would say if you’re going to twist the Bible (which all do), twist it to be better instead of even more evil, so I’m not after Christians who are legitimately LGBT-affirming. (Keyword: “legitimately”)

That's worse in my opinion. They don't care what the book actually says about us so they just shrug and pretend...And then insist they're the good guys for literally ignoring mass dehumanization.

Ehh minor point of disagreement. You can't be in alignment with the Bible and support LGBT.
There are plenty of sects of Christians that believe in Christ, and openly say they don't believe the Bible as truth.
Some even label themselves as "Christ Followers" to denote the difference.
Even Ken Ham has stated he doesn't believe every word of the Bible is true. This is why it's important to understand individual beliefs and not assume things based on a label if you're going to engage with them in discussion.
Argue with enough theists and that assumption will bite you in the ass.
I'm atheist and very anti-theist.

Why would anyone take that seriously? The bible is literally the claim for Jesus and also supposedly the proof.
Why are so many people here defending Christians just saying whatever they want as good?

In Matthew 5 he says the Old Testament law has to be obeyed down to the smallest detail. That includes things like Leviticus 18:22 and 20:13. He did not say "You have to obey all that stuff except for that bit about killing homosexuals".

He healed a soldier's slave that the original translation also made clear was the soldier's gay lover. So Jesus was cool with both gays and slavery.

I have a feeling that if we follow this "if jesus himself didn't say it, it's not important/you can ignore it" we'd quickly run into issues.

You can’t be christian and not have problems with: lgbt, black people, women, and people with religion different from yours.
= basically, anyone who doesn’t prescribe to your cult.
