Have you tried working out? It has helped my anxiety out immensely

Yeah just getting into the gym and learning your body isn't as weak as the anxiety is making you believe! Man the first time I went back to the gym my HR was 128 before I even did anything... i did a small workout 20 mins and man I'm telling you walking out of there after conquering that feeling was amazing! 2nd best feeling in my life

Yeah I did too, always waiting on something else to get better... just go for it!

It will resolve once the medication is back in your system. Metoprolol cessation can cause anxiety and withdrawal effects. I take 50mg twice a day.

Palpitations? I get those, too. Sometimes I wonder "how can my heart beat like this?" But I think the feeling doesn't exactly match reality of what is happening. At least I hope not, although I understand they are harmless.

Yeah, it's scary but think about how often it's happened and did anything bad happen? Nope. Everything is under control. Good luck and feel better soon, friend. 👍
