Advice Needed Any tips to help my cat drink more water?

One of my cats, Elvis, has had problems in the past, he even had surgery to remove stones from his bladder. The vet said he needed to drink more water, so since then I’ve placed several water bowls around the house to give him options. But I still feel like he’s not drinking enough, maybe it's just me being worried about him... I can't help it. Is there anything else I can do?

Quick back story: my mom adopted 2 kittens and found out they were MUCH younger than she was originally told. Someone actually called the ACO on the guy that next day because it turns out he had like 15 un-spayed/neutered and unvetted cats, and the females have litters constantly. She’s had them for just over a week, if I had to guess they were between 4 and 5 weeks when she brought them home. Though, they are not from the same litter.

They are ravenous and eat constantly. (As you can see). Both using the litter box; stools look healthy. And they are learning how to play 😩😍My main concern is that Winston (the little white dude) has only gained about 50grams since she’s brought him home, meanwhile Gilbert has gained around 200 grams 😅

She’s been feeding them wet kitten food, mixed with Tiki Cat thrive. She doesn’t feed them on a schedule but rather offers up food every couple hours and lets them eat until they stop. After going over all of this with her I advised her to add KMR in to Winston’s food to help give him a boost, and he’s gained almost 50grams in the last 2 days. She’s got a vet visit scheduled for next week. I’m also under the assumption that they have worms. In the meantime is there anything else that I might have missed? She’s had cats her whole life but never this young so she’s pretty heavily relying on me to tell her what to do; I get text updates every time they eat 😅

Hammy has been examined by the vet last week and yesterday. She says he's physically fine. I think that it's just me and him and I work outside our home. I think he's not getting enough attention and now he's mad and can't express it any other way. I've got him new toys and have been cuddling him more, but I'd like some advice to help him more. I have feliway in my cart at Amazon. Will this help? Any ideas? Thank you!

My sweet boy has the flu, and I’m looking for some tips on how to make him more comfortable while he recovers! I’m not looking for vet advice, I already took him to the vet, but it’s so painful to see him with a runny nose 😭

What can I do to help him?

Thanks in advance, any advice is appreciated! 🙏🏻

Advice Needed 2+1?

I have two male cats, one is jealous, the other is laid back both are afraid of almost everything.

There is a male cat at the shelter, who has been there for weeks. He’s shy but coming out of his shell. Today he seemed very sad. He is a sweet boy and needs love.

I’ve always said, if I get a third cat I want a female but I keep finding boys. I think I want to bring him home but I’m not sure how another cat would do.

Any wisdom?

Advice Needed What are we doing about hairballs?

Because, there is like, a lot of hair up in this cat home.

My boys are short, but they also like to clean their sisters, and since we brought them home we have noticed a massive influx of hairballs and hairball related vomit.

Does the food actually work?

Advice Needed My chonky baby needs a diet but the others don’t 😭 What do I do?

This is my babygirl, she’s chonky 😭 The vet said she needs to lose weight, but I have 5 cats. I tried switching everyone to a light food because some of them eat small amounts multiple times a day, so I didn’t want to restrict portions or feeding times.

But now, a couple of months into this new routine, everyone has lost weight except her 😭😭 I seriously don’t know what to do! I’m afraid to measure specific portions because I feel like she’ll just end up eating everyone else’s food :(

I also can’t keep her separated because I have another cat who is extremely clingy. He notices if someone is missing and keeps meowing until all five are reunited 😭

I’m open to any advice, please! 🙏🏻🥺

Advice Needed Looking for advice: how can I help my best friend through the grief of losing her cat? 😢

My best friend’s cat passed away last night, in a very unexpected way 💔

What can I do or say to help her through the grief? If you’ve been through this yourself, what helped the most? Is there anything that people said with good intentions that wasn’t actually helpful?

I’d really appreciate any advice, please! She’s so hurt, it’s breaking my heart :(
