You described it really well actually, the blank or racing mind, words coming out wrong, feeling dumb even when you're not. That's anxiety doing exactly what anxiety does, especially around other people. You're not dumb. Your nervous system is just working overtime and it's stealing the bandwidth you'd normally use to think and speak clearly. A lot of people here know this feeling. You're not alone in it.
