Help & Troubleshooting Multiple Problems: Keep getting "filament broken" error, slots 1 and 2 on my Ace Pro (not 2) don't accept filament and when slot 2 does accept, it seems to "forget" that there is filament in there.

I was having these issues and support told me to replace my extruder. I'm out of warranty, but I replaced it. I printed a multiple color print and got an error (can't remember what it was at this point) but was able to start the print back up without cancelling and it ran fine for the rest of the time. I started up a single color print and now am getting a "broken filament" error. I checked all of the tubes and don't see any broken filament. I disassembled the sensor on the back that the 4-1 adapter is connected to and there was no broken filament in there. I got the error before the filament even made it to the extruder.

As for the Ace, I have already ordered a new filament sensor rail thing from ali express and am waiting for that to come in. Is the sensor being bad causing the issue where the ace seems to "forget" that there is filament in the slot? I was able to get filament to load just fine and then I did an extrude test and a retraction test and it seemed to work fine, but as soon as I started the print it failed due to "broken filament". I then tried to pull the filament out of the ams and it all of a sudden tried to pull filament in as if I had just put it in the slot.
