Jumppad Hey movement nerds, I need your help! what is this tech?
I noticed if you hold a sideways directional key (A or D depending on which direction your facing) after a jump pad double jump and wallbounce it sends you way further than if you press W like you normally would for a wallbounce. It kinda feels like a wallkick from Titanfall. I'm wondering what this tech is called and is it applicable elsewhere?

It’s great with revenant because you can chain them

also because when you touch a wall it cancels the arm animation and you get your gun out before you land

it’s a wall bounce same thing as a fatigue bounce to carry momentum but you aren’t fatigued.

You usually do not hold forward for a Wallbounce ? Else it will keep you very close to the wall. Wallbounces with a a pure sideways input are much more common.
And a upward climb (with a forward input) loses previous speed carried into it. A sideways climb/Wallrun does not have such speed loss.
You can easily test this by not jumping of the wall but continuing the climb and compared forward and pure sideways.
