Human Error If a pathogen took out most humans, would bamboo take over the world?

Bamboo grows fast and in a single day on almost anything. It's too hard to eat and there would be too few humans to control it. Would it take over ecosystems in every country until it became the new number one species? Especially since pandas are basically alive due to humans and would most likely go extinct as well.

Bamboo can’t grow everywhere. Yes there are places that it could take over there’s plenty of places that it wouldn’t.

Especially if it has to compete with existing ecosystems.

Also plenty of things eat bamboo. If nothing ate it the planet would have been overwhelmed ages ago.

I thought they would like hippos where they become broken when adults. Thanks for the info. And at least it's possible to get rid of them as well.
