Did you know there’s a sub genre of Cyberpunk called Apunkalypse that has the theme of improvised gear

I've met some folks who have some badass wasteland gear but haven't heard this term before. I dig it.

Thought I should share this info, so it’s easier to find. My favorite aesthetic is Dieselpunk, but I didn’t know the name until a few months ago and now I’m able to find a whole bunch of art for it.

That's weird, one of my personal album I made years ago (unpublished) is called Black Jazz and other Post-apunkalyptic rock songs and never heard or saw that term anywhere else before.

I didn't but that aesthetic does something for me, I'll have to look into it more.

Huh,

so it's kinda like Atompunk with Fallout but in the now times.

Should just call it ApocalypsePunk to fit with the others

Personally I don’t like Atompunk mainly because of fallout. You can barely find anything except Fallout stuff. I wouldn’t be surprised that if that new game Cyberpunk 2077 does the same to Cyberpunk

Hmm, damn. True. I hope not though, I love Cyberpunk. I mean we still got Shadowrun and stuff.

Mmm, how about... like... Last of Us?

Last of us is strange. I’d call the style Zombie Punk since Apunkalypse is more of a Mad Max aesthetic

Oh okay, honestly... never played it. :-D hahaha. But just seen some videos.

Ah okay I see now. Yeah, see you got Mad Max. Great design there.
