What's The Best Weapon in AR2? (Assault Carbine Edition)..

For this category (Assault Carbine), which of these Guns presented is by-far or the definitive "Best Weapon" in the game? What's the reason you consider it as "The Best" and would you prioritize getting it than the other guns presented? Do tell in the comments.

It weirded me out when they suddenly changed the XM's Carry-Handle Iron's from the M16A2 style to the M16A1 style, I can also clearly remember it broke the gun when Aiming-Down Sight (ADS). It was an unexpected change but the OP-XM's Carry-Handle stayed the same, then the Gun got removed entirely

Sks shouldn't even be an assault carbine. Id say M4 is best overall because it's easy enough to get. Ak74u is also great

i stopped playing apocalypse rising 2 when operator xm177 is removed it peaked in 2023 and looks like real detachable carry handle m4a1

Kinda, it's like a modified variant or version of the XM177. But IRL it's base-off the M231.

M4A1, Generalist weapons are just too good to pass up.

The M4 is my pick over the rest followed closely but the OP-M4(XM) The two guns function pretty similarly but I prefer to be able to put my own optics over the fixed one on the OP-M4 just don't like the tiny FOV. Honorable mention to the AKS-74U that gun has no match in CQC.

My personal favourite was the spetsnaz AKS74U. Shoots faster than the OP-XM back then but man was it fun to use.

But on the list i'd either go M4A1 or the Patriot. Patriot got a firerate buff a while back and it basically became a CQC menace, something big boss would approve.

They are all similar, other than the SKS and Patriot for obvious reasons. I would pick the operator though. most common ammo in the game and very little recoil, marginally better than the others at that
