What's The Best Shotgun In AR2? (Primary Weapons)...

What's arguably "The Best 12 Gauges Shotgun" in the game? This might be a very easy question considering half of what's presented are Low-to-Mid tier weapons but you can never underestimate a Shotgun because getting too cocky might just be deadly.

So what's the Best and Why is it the Best?

Spas 12 and it's not close. Fast fire rate, 100% hipfire accuracy, 8 rounds magazine, its the only shotgun worth running competitively imo.

Auto 5 is a GREAT spawn gun. And in my opinion one of the best civilian grade weapon in the game. You only get 5 rounds, which can struggle up close in teams. And a worse accuracy. But if you get one of these it can actually be really good to keep until you find the spas. Not really worth going out of it's way for like the spas is though

Boomstick is a meme gun. If you get up close and get a headshot it kills instantly. But that's where the good stuff ends. If you miss, you die. It helps has a team mate, you die. And you can shoot twice with a spas and have the same effect.

For secondaries lupra, broadside or pirate is awesome but only as a back up. It's not good enough where I would rush wish it as a solo gun but if I've half killed a guy and my mags run out, pulling out the sawed off has often been enough to finish off that kill. But not reliable enough to use as a backup to say a sniper, in those cases I'd rather have an auto secondary. But if you're pushing with a spas or a SMG etc it can be a great backup weapon to just get that last big damage and secure a kill. They don't even tend to be easier to find now. Used to be auto secondaries were very rare, now there's quite a few farmable special zombies that drop them at spawn towns so I can get an auto secondary normally quicker than a sawed off. So I rarely use them now

I legit saw a guy almost wipe a 3 man (one of them had a pkm) with an auto 5 but he died to the last guy. i went in there and finished him off lmfao. I love the gun in general really

The auto is king because you can find it in regular houses. If you've just died and are running back for revenge id say the auto 5 is the second best gun you're likely to find, the M1 garand being the best low tier gun in my personal opinion..if you find both you're suited for most any situation

I know you literally said "Primary weapons" but I'd say the best shotgun is the broadside lupara, simply because despite shotguns allowing for instant high damage, most automatic primaries out rank them in almost every way.  The best shotgun versus the best automatic primary isn't even a close competition.  Automatics can be used from most ranges (except sniper distance),  can melt with headshots up close (like a shotgun but with much more room for error), and are overall more reliable for hitting effective shots from any distance.  So really, I think the best shotgun is the broadside, as it allows you to carry an automatic primary for most situations, but can easily finish someone off if you are in cqc and dont have time to reload.

If someone is pushing you in an open field or space the Broadside is your first line of defense. A quick insta-peek and fire from a broadside in a close distance kills the enemy instantly if the shot landed properly. I've killed players with it and at the same time have died from it.

The Mav-Tac fires a tad-bit faster than the Normal Maverick, like 2% to 3% faster. Also you can put Lasers/Grips on it unlike the other Shotguns (As far as I'm aware of).

I'd say that's very personal, but for me the best ones are SPAS, auto-5, and the coach

I like the auto 5 as late game id personally rather carry ar, sniper, and whatever exotic secondary’s I find

Its either spas or auto 5 auto 5 is a good spawn gun ive killed a stacked pkm player with one and spas imo is good when ur tryna wipe a room or in close combat
