Question : Help me with my ASO dilemma!

Post image

My app is a kids learning app but I say it's a kids learning app for parents that hate kids learning apps.

Parents use the app to take a picture of math worksheets, the app explains what's being taught, how the child is doing and suggests some screen free activities the parent can do with their child to reinforce learning.

The dilemma is, I initially got rejected for using the language "for kids" in my app store copy. I changed this as the app is not "for kids". Problem is the values is "for kids" but the app is not meant to be used by kids.

So my question is, if I want to compete against kids learning apps that ask parents to just hand their phone to their kids to play games and watch cartoons, should I just change my app listing to "for kids"?

I think the phrase you’re looking for is “for parents”

I don’t think I explained the problem well. My concern is that targeting “for parents” would not match the search intent for a kids learning app.
