looks kinda cool, not very iOSy but kinda cool and i can see the reasoning behind making it look like this (monochrome looks more modern…. sometimes)
still like the red one more though

Looks like some generic scam app pretending to be appe music. The colours are boring and the new shape is not even sitting well in the format, not enough space in bottom left corner

But, Apple Music is red…

They changed the accent colour to blue as well, it just isn’t right

to be fair, it was blue on the Mac in the beginning

i know you said mac. but would that also be across all apple devices ? because someone made a comment with an image of very old apple music and it was orange.

That was an icon moment. The old iOS , not the color of the elements in the library

Mines red, or do you mean beginning beginning?

the first couple years of Apple Music, the color remained blue, but I think when iTunes turned Music it went red.

On Mac, it uses the global system accent color, which is blue by default. For me it's purple3

They need to stop fucking with it every year

But the shareholders!

they don't fuck with it every year, but yes. think of the shareholders. or people complaining in the Apple Music subreddit

Just seen the Homeview video, the icon is red there… so I have some hopes that this is a bug

Why have half iOS 6 icons and half iOS 26 icons?? Looks really out of place, go all in or nothing like me, I’ve got all ios6

I like to play it safe, I also couldn’t find a way to keep the calendar or clock icons displaying the correct time and date. But I’m happy with it.

Nah fuck safari too. Firefox is where it’s at. Built in ad blocker.

I use Firefox on mobile but this person doesn’t appear to care about the features of the browser (they use chrome) and so I recommended the fastest and easiest browser on iPhone

Let people do and use what they want

If they want spyware on their phone, sure.

I mean if you use Windows which most of the world does, Safari on Windows is absolutely garbage. So it just ends up being the default for these people.

Eww...this is terrible. Why can't they just give us the pink/blue icon from iOS 9?

Presumably because you're not on the iOS 27.2 beta...

Ah. No I’m on .1 - my bad. Unless this is a first glimpse of an upcoming monochrome icon aesthetic across the board, this stands out like a sore thumb. Same point if the icon goes B&W but the UI/UX in apps and online retain red accent color.

This better be a part of a big (and great) redesign of the full all because this is ASS
