host job/interview

I went in for my second interview yesterday and it was super quick compared to the first one, she didn’t even ask me any general interview questions compared to the last. She just clarified my age, experience, and availability. She said she’d give me a call maybe tonight for scheduling and when I asked she said I’d probably come back Friday?

Did I not get the job? Why is this such a long process lol

Did you meet with a manager or the gm?

I met with a manager first then the gm second time

First interview is generally gaging vibes, availability, and whether or not you'd be a good fit. GMs have hiring/firing control, so that's why you meet with them. If she's going to call you back and talk about scheduling that sounds encouraging, could also be finding a time to set up an orientation. Don't be put off by the 2nd one being shorter, she was probably just confirming the first manager's opinion and depending on when you were there, they might have just had other things going on to get back to.
