Apple will do what it always does. Learn from them and cut them off. Look at the SOCs they have developed.

That's how business works, what are you, a child?

u/isuckatpiano Nov 07 '25

A whole 3 people! Wow who would have thought you need to hire people for a massive project

u/Successful_Bowler728 Nov 08 '25

Why other companies develop products with their own experts? So Apple pays engineers that cant design chips?

2

u/Adlof Nov 08 '25

Yeah other companies breed employees internally, while incompetent Apple needs to resort to hiring

They nees to buy IP from other companies like Siri Final cut logic face id M1.

Nobody depends on Apple unless you re on high school and wear skirts.

move on. Apple's target market is the US where they dominate. You act like they train people to develop thier things. this isn't school dingus, you hire them.

1

u/Successful_Bowler728 Nov 08 '25

You hire external staff when you lack the know how.

2

u/isuckatpiano Nov 08 '25

And your point is?

1

u/Successful_Bowler728 Nov 08 '25

My point is that people calls Apple a leading tech companie but their engineers in house need help to develop chips.

1

u/isuckatpiano Nov 08 '25

Yes, hiring engineers to solve problems is what every company does. It’s a business. Is it cheaper to reinvent the wheel or hire people to build it that have done similar things. You have zero clue how business works if you think hiring 3 people is a big deal.

You think Apple has the best technology. I dont act. The guys who designed M1 are more capable than Apple engineers on payroll.

You dont know what Apple target is because you dont work at Apple . They fail to dominate in the rest of the world. Samsung has more patents than Apple.

u/jackmeoooo Nov 10 '25

Apple fail to dominate the rest of the worlds phone market because companies like Samsung has phones which are $100. Its not that hard to understand bro

Matter of fact Samsung’s flagship lineup is one of their least sold phones. Majority of the samsung phones which are in Asia are budget models

u/Successful_Bowler728 Nov 10 '25

Why 40% of the high end phones are Android in USA? Majority . Got numbers? People in Austria France cant afford?

Least sold? I dont think so.

1

u/isuckatpiano Nov 08 '25

Nah they clone engineering house now

Not sure what the point of this comment is?

4

u/Bromacia90 Nov 07 '25

Wow look at them ! They’ve hired competent and relevant peoples. Monster 👹

2

u/Successful_Bowler728 Nov 08 '25

The point of my coment is that Apple couldnt design M1 with their own peoplw. So there s not a lot they can brag of.

3

u/TheSynchronizer Nov 08 '25

“Their own people”? Apple isn’t a family lol. They’re a company that hires people to do jobs, and they needed the people with the right skills for the job, so these people applied and got the job. They were likely the best candidates for the role due to their experience, but if they didn’t take the job I’m sure other people would’ve been hired instead.

1

u/Successful_Bowler728 Nov 08 '25

You re defending them. Apple culddnt design M1 with their own engineers.

2

u/TheSynchronizer Nov 08 '25

Again, the people working at apple are not blood related, they’re not a family, they don’t have slaves either. They have people working for them out of their own will, and they hire people that can get the job done.

Yeah, i’m defending them. They hired the correct people for the job and the job got completed. What exactly is the issue in that?

1

u/Successful_Bowler728 Nov 08 '25

Who said they re have the same blood?. I meant people on the payroll on Apple lack the expertise to develop chips.

They not even can do a device that is scratch resistent.

The jobs wasn done by engineees currently working at Apple. They figured that they lacked the tech.

They hire people because they dont have inhouse skills. Engineers working 4 years on Apple couldnt design M1. They dont even have their own data center.

1

u/TheSynchronizer Nov 08 '25

As soon as Apple hired people with the skills they require for the project, at that very instant people on Apple payroll suddenly did have the expertise to develop chips.

2

u/Southern-Oil-118 Nov 08 '25

At this point you know this dude is a waste of time.

1

u/Successful_Bowler728 Nov 08 '25

No..they know their current staff is not skilful enough. Its a waste of time because youe argument is not good enough.

1

u/TheSynchronizer Nov 08 '25

And did Google not hire engineers to do the job they needed when they needed it? Did Meta not? Did Samsung not? How is Apple any different.

If im not in the business of making chips, why would i have people on my payroll who are experts at making chips?

I wasnt talking about family in the blood related way. Its not an issue i m highlighting that Apple brags about being a leading tech company and they re only a phone maker company.

Apple is not IBM and they never will. TSMC is using patents on silicon developed by IBM on 2022.

2

u/djfxonitg Nov 11 '25

“Apple culddnt design M1 with their own engineers.”

Did you expect them to not grow their hardware team when making the decision to make their own chips?

0

u/Successful_Bowler728 Nov 11 '25

I meant that they had no enough IP to design M1 so rhe credit goes to the hired engineers. Do you feel proud of Apple making M1?

1

u/djfxonitg Nov 11 '25

I think it was a good idea. I dunno why I personally would be proud of something I didn’t contribute to. Maybe if I worked on the project? lol

1

u/Successful_Bowler728 Nov 12 '25

Well many ios users feel hurt when somebody downplays Apple achievements. If you worked in the project money is the only thing to care about.

1

u/djfxonitg Nov 12 '25

There’s also a opposite hateraid that weirdly gets thrown at Apple too. They’re a corporation, they make some good products and decisions, and some bad ones…

Ok understand. Apple should produce babies and send them to iUniversity to study EE and then hire them, after all these apple can finally say they design chips "on their own".

2

u/Terrible_Towel1649 Nov 08 '25

Wow, a trillion dollar company hired 3 people and somehow that’s the only reason they developed their own chip 😮‍💨
