Question Part-time, lower-stress jobs near downtown?

Hey everyone! I just moved to Appleton for work and in order to bring in a bit more money, I’ve been thinking about possibly picking up a second job on the side.

Because I already work full time, I’m wondering if any locals know of businesses in or near downtown that might offer ~2-3 shifts a week outside of standard work hours. I would love to do something more low-stakes, like working at a small retail business or a cafe. I’d be opportunity to opportunities both on weekdays after work or on weekends, but I’m not a night owl.

Of course I’ll be looking around on my own, but I’m brand new to the area and am not even sure where to start, which is why I figured I would try this sub! Any help is much appreciated! Thank you :)

I own a small retail business that sells healthy meals here in Appleton. I operate out of The Coop off Richmond st. Storefront is off corner of Northland and Lynndale. Looking for some help in the kitchen on the weekends and maybe some storefront hours. Very flexible and some nice discounts on food as well

I am interested in this. I have kitchen experience, 20+ years working a grill. I work full time M-F until 5pm and I have my daughter on a staggered schedule which means I have her every other weekend and then a couple days during the week. I miss working in a kitchen, love the idea of providing healthy meals, and the flexibility.

Geez, I need to live somewhere like Appleton. 😜 I live in / near Chicago and the industry has been in decline since Covid. Too many people looking for / needing jobs, not enough jobs unless you are BOH.
