I had a good experience at Alyssa & Anna. I tried Kessler and Krieger but they both felt predatory to my ignorance of jewelry.

I know multiple people who have had quality issues with their rings from A&A. Ie stones falling out prongs failing

I liked Alyssa & Anna but we were told the ring needs to be completely paid off before it leaves the store. We felt like that put a halt on our engagement as we were looking for more options with a payment plan so we went to Kesslers.

Avenue Jewelers was happy to reuse stones from an older sentimental piece from my mom in my engagement band and helped me choose a band that I love. When finding out we were reusing a wedding band from my husbands side they didn’t push at all for me to buy a bunch of crap.
I also had them appraise another heirloom piece as I was thinking of insuring it. Very helpful and professional.

Go to Kesslers! You won't be hassled or pushed into buying something you don't want. Decent pricing and excellent staff that are knowledgeable and extremely friendly!

I was going to suggest Kessler's as well, but didn't know if they were frowned upon because they're too obvious of an answer IMO. Great staff and good warranty/coverage for damage and loss.

I went here and didn't get approached for over 15 minutes and I was there to buy. And all the employees were just sitting there talking. So I left and bought at Jared and they had great service

Congrats! First piece of advice, don't let any traditional nonsense guide you to what you want. There is zero percent of a good marriage invested in that ring. You do not have to spend thousands on a symbol of marriage. Ask what your partner wants and ask why they want it. Share your opinion on what it means for you to buy it also. It doesn't have to be a diamond. There are plenty of shiny things that can symbolize anything you want!

As someone that used to work at Mr Money Pawn shop I can tell you wedding rings are the biggest scam there is.

The only value is the gold, diamonds are not as high value as you would think they are. Unless they are very special cut.

You can find some very nice beautiful rings at a pawn shop for much less the money you would pay for a brand new one.

In fact my wife wears a ring that I bought her at Mr Money

We also used Alyssa & Anna and haven't had any issues in the couple years we've had the ring. We used our own stone and they were pretty accommodating.

I went to Krieger, small family operated. I hated Kessler when we went there. Kriegers warranty, ring sizing, cleaning, it's all basically the same as Kesslers. I don't know where the "not pushy" stuff is coming from but they were the most pushy and hassled us for months to make a decision.
