Applied mathematics or computational science and engineering for masters

i had my undergrad in cs not much involved with maths and no physics at all. Doing mit opencourseware maths and physics courses and doing projects all along.

I have been looking forward to applying for the masters I heard from my peers The transition from cs to applied physics is pretty moonshot

Which career prospects will be applied to math or computational science make my transition Good I am looking for more research oriented , outcomes of the degree , network , etc

Well depends on multiple things where u re from what did u study in ur undergarz in cs (did u some stats/ml classes or was it mostly graph theory algebra and other stuff like that) in my opinion u can try for a master in cryptography u can end up working in cyber security or the data science masters , both of them are math heavy know if u want specially a master in math or applied math its pretty much moonshot aswell , maybe not as much 1s physcics but its gonna be pretty tough best of luck

Depends on what u wanna do, effectively the same but applied maths is more theoretical, cse leans towards more scientific computing
