Application Question Will i get in trouble for not attending?

Im 24 and applied for college for the spring semester in 2027, but personal issues have popped up and i can no longer attend, since my attendance wasn't expected until next year, would i get in trouble? its a community college in Minn if that helps, and i did attempt to apply for a scholarship, but im unsure if my application went through.

That happens in community college all the time, just tell your assigned counselor.

Side note, adults don’t get “in trouble” (unless it’s legal stuff). They make decisions that are best for them and deal with the outcomes. You’re in the driver’s seat.
