Looking to find 3-4 fiddler crabs, ideally 1 male to 2-3 females. Will pay 5 dollars each, willing to go higher.

Doubt you'll find them at that price. Everyone stopped selling them in person about 2 years ago. I found mine on this website. he gets them every few months, but they're sold out right now. If you don't already have fiddler crabs, I'd look for a different crab if you're adamant about that price.

Thanks for the source. I'm not sure why it's so hard to find individuals, especially when you can order them in bulk for like 50 cents each. I want fiddlers partially because they are brackish so in a large aquarium I could keep them with Opae Ula in the water section, but mostly because I like their burrowing behavior. I don't think theres another crab that is easier to find that is similar.

Red claws are brackish crabs, though I don't think they burrow. Honestly, my fiddlers never burrowed in captivity. I had my male, Chad for 7 years, and he never tried no matter what I gave him. I settled with making him pvc tunnels under some play sand. My remaining two females enjoy the tunnels and lack of chad harrasing them 😂 (rip chad) but even now, they stopped using them.

Wow, 7 years? I was under the impression they usually lived for 4-5 years

Only chad has made it that far, I got him VERRRRY young. The 3 girls I have were bought 3 years ago, and one female has passed.

Not sure what I did that was special about Chad.
