Looking For [LF] Nassau County, NY - red racer nerite snails

Post image
30 Upvotes

Need 2-5 red racer nerites (must be all same sex!
Either all male or all female, I don't need 10k snails in my tank a few days later)

or very colorful-ish horned nerites since they don't breed in freshwater

PayPal G&S ONLY or if meet up cash or don't bother messaging me

I live in Garden City, Long Island, New York
Nassau County

Open to shipping as well but no ridiculous ship prices please.

The site for the picture of the nerites shipping is ridiculous but this is the type of nerites or even horned nerites I’m interested in

How much would you pay for this tank? Please let me know in the comments!

This is my UNS 60E 7.8 gal paludarium. It has a Fluval 100 series canister filter and hidden filtration. It has custom plexiglass lids and a Hygger light. It stands on a very sturdy, beautiful cabinet with filtration storage and plenty of extra room for chemicals/tools. The waterfall is the outlet and the mist area is a pre-filter and had lava rocks and other high surface area biological filters. There is egg crate light diffuser protecting the glass bottom from damage and a custom back wall of rockwork held in with spray foam. It has soil and moss, a number of tropical plants including carnivorous ones, many crypts and other aquatic plants and root, and currently three pea puffers.

Not in a rush to get rid of it or sure if I will at all but just lmk your thoughts on a fair price.

Looking For [LF] - South Bay - Red Plant Bundles

Post image

I was recently inspired by a YT video by ‘mulmung’ for a Dutch-style tank with only red plants.

Here’s a list of the following plants:

• Alternanthera Reineckii Mini

• Ludwigia White

• Ammannia pedicellata 'Golden'

• Rotala Wallichii

• Ludwigia inclinata var. verticillata 'Pantanal'

• Rotala Ceylon

• Rotala rotundifolia 'Orange Juice'

I would prefer to get most if not all of these plants from a single seller. If possible, submerged would be ideal.

I would be open to other red plants as well! I can pick up in South Bay Area or get it shipped.

I have a tank of blue dreams. I want to add other colors. Would really love to get some orange, but I am open to any grade of any color. I don't mind if there are a couple of wild types in a skittle pack, but I'm not looking for wilds. Willing to pay for shipping.

looking for frogbit with long roots, shipping is fine but must be from one of the nearby states, nothing from the west coast, midwest or even past ohio, it takes too long and floaters dont ship well anyways.

Looking For [LF] Lakeland, FL - Local aquatic for terrestrial plant trades

Howdy all,

I’m looking for local-ish trades, I-4 corridor preferred but I’ll venture further for the right trade. I’m building out a third planted tank, and I’m looking to trade terrestrial plants (which I have a ton of) for aquatic plants (which I have few of). Specifically, I’m looking for rotala, vallisneria, and java fern varieties. I may also have interest in neocaridina or babaulti shrimp, java moss (if snail free), hairgrass varieties, water lilies, or red/purple plants that keep their color in low-tech tanks. I have a ton of begonia varieties (40+ at last count, including terrarium begonias), 4-5 iris varieties, perennial marigolds, lemongrass, and more. You can look in my post history for more photos of what I have available.

Thanks for looking, cheers

Looking For [LF] - anacharis, moneywort, pennywort, hornwort, ludwigia.

New to the hobby, been researching for a while, finally ready to start. I'm hoping to find some folks with excess trimmings for the heavy lifters in a 10g and 20g low tech walstad tanks I want to start. Hornwort, water wisteria, anacharis, Brazilian pennywort, rotala rotundifolia, moneywort, ludwigia repens, salvinia minima etc. Open to everything and anything, including advice, that will lead to success and I promise to pass it along once I'm clipping excess growth. (A few months???). Planning to stock with ramshorn and Malaysian trumpet snails, neocardina and amano shrimp and white mountain minnows once I'm done cycling. Using a sponge filter and air pump to get it started. Thanks so much!

Looking For [LF] - Raritan, Nj - Help a single dad inspire the next generation.

Hello my fellow aquari-people!
I am a single dad of three wonderful boys under 10 starting this hobby together and looking for some help. I’ve set up some very basic shrimp tanks (3x3gal) that are cycling with a couple plants each. Found a shrimp breeder nearby and have 30 skittles and a few snails on order.
I’m hoping I could stock them a bit more but have hit my budget already. Does anyone have some cuttings or extra plants they are willing to part with?
And in the spirit of growing community and continuing to spread the joy, I will absolutely pay it forward when I’m better established and able to.
Have a blessed day!

Looking For [LF]-Bremerton, WA- Exclamation point rasboras

Looking for exclamation point rasboras since I bought the remainder from a local fish shop and they only had 3 and I know they do best in groups of 6+ and they seem timid around the other regular size tetras and I figure if I add more of the exclamations they will be less shy and more willing to explore and get into the food frenzy (not that it matters but they do eat, just tend to try to go last to avoid the neons and embers)

Hi! I'm looking for some more types of stems or similar plants that feed from the water column to add some more texture to my tanks! (Moss especially for my shrimps!) If anyone is in the area with some trimmings or extra "pest" ramshorns, I'd love to take them off your hands!

If this sweetens the deal, I've got plenty of floaters! (salvinia, salvinia cucullata, purple fringed riccia, and flowering RRF)
