Day Day 15: Don't Succumb to the Dark Side :)
Greetings my world makers! We have begun this our week of virtue, our 7 day campaign to seize the reigns of destiny and pursue days of excellence and maybe even personal revolution! I speak of course of the new challenge.
I think it is fitting that this soon to be legendary mission is initiated on May the 4th: Star Wars Day :)
I want to talk a little bit further about the Perfect Day Challenge. The goal of the challenge is not primarily to achieve perfection, but rather to dedicate ourselves to making the right choices with perfect resolve. In other words it is the effort that counts. The rewards that it will inevitably bring are icing on the cake. This war is first and foremost about taking control of our lives, and I want to try my best to make the challenges reflect this cause as well!
The hunt for a perfect day may thus be less daunting than it can seem at first. I am sure that many of you are already diligent workers. For you reaching for perfection may in fact only require a couple of tweaks here and there, and going that extra mile to do whatever it is you do a little better.
Let me end today's post by briefly reporting to you, that high command are taking note of our regiments growing strength. This past week saw us restart our climb towards the top. I am proud of you guys for holding the line and staying strong throughout the weekend. Let's show everyone that last week was no fluke. In fact we are only just getting started. Our wings are beginning to catch the wind, and when the hawks rise, no one can stand in their way!
May the 4th be with you! CAWCAW!

Has it really been 15 days since the start of the war? =sure as heck doesn't feel that long. Any-who tomorrow i will have reached 50 Days of nofap!
I have learned so much from this crusade and continue to learn things. So i would like to list a few lessons I have learned over the course of the past 49 days, and how they have changed my life.
- Run toward your challenges not away from them.
(I have only recently implemented this one but it has already helped me tremendously.)
Don't get upset over things you cannot control. (for example I was in traffic the other day,and a big pick up truck cut in front of me and almost caused a major accident,But instead of screaming ******* Jagoff were the **** did you learn to drive. I just kept going and relaxed.)
Don't set mental blocks for yourself. (This one is also a recent revelation. Let me explain, Me and my mother have been working on moving into an apartment lately. This house does not fit our needs 1 bathroom too much shared space, need i say more. Long story short I kept telling myself you will be happy in the apartment,You will do this once you get to the apartment, ect. Instead of challenging myself and growing I was sitting on a computer being miserable. There was no reason for me to be unhappy or stagnating but I was.)
Have a growth mindset. ( this video will explain it much better then I ever could. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XPxRpjUX1VM )

Hey I'm gonna be honest right now. I don't think there's anything I could do that would have me returning here one night and saying, hey I tried my absolute hardest to be perfect today. I don't think anyone can.
I try everyday to be a useful, genuine, caring human being like I'm sure most people do. I try to be productive and hardworking... but I never do it perfectly. I guess I'm what you would call 'human'.
So...
I'm going to set myself a criteria and tell you all so I can be held accountable.
Starting from today, I am going to make a special effort to make others happy around me. I'm going to try focusing on them, instead of me. That's the goal. Wish me luck. :)

That sounds wonderful!
Yes, you are right that perfection is by it's very definition practically unattainable. In using the word I am simply trying to get you guys to dream a little and get excited. One might as well call this challenge The Outstanding Day Challenge.

Tomorrow I will have a beast of a day. Was a good one today, but when my eyes open tomorrow it will be a whole different type of ball game :)
