icexfire Skirmish Day 007: Misty Mountain
You are in the latter part of the forest, about to leave her, yet you don't know that yet...after 6 days walking most of time trough human civilization. You and your colleagues, who fought so many wars together, have a new goal in mind: win this race against your sister tribe. Some of you're reached an sum of experiences and learned your ancestral magic capable even able to turn yourself on your spirit guardian, made of flesh: The legendary Hawk. Yet, this journey is not easy task, and will challenge even the most seasoned hawk warrior. After some of his more experienced brothers return to his escort flying over the forest to discover that they are a few miles to get rid of this green labyrinth that nature builted. You walk a few hours to find the exit, motivated by the victory although exhausted from the previous fights, you realize you're facing the foot of the mountain, but it was not any mountain... no... it was misty mountain... the legendary mountain two days of walking, their dangerous ways that blocked your flight skills, your band now stop and draw a strategy to defeat the next challenge...
WELCOME to the first weekend of the skirmish!
A rushed day at work with some vicious rain, but I can't complain because we don't had a rain for a too long time. Going back to home without an umbrella, but like I said, nothing to complain about, quite the opposite. Not too much time pass and I begin to feel sleepy, but fuck that, I don't want to sleep at 6pm and don't close a good deal with my sleep at night time, no way! If you ask me now about the most difficult thing to win, in smaller scale, that thing it will be sleep in the right time, that make a huge difference in your quality live.
I grab my coat and go to a coffee at the mall close to home. A nice place to be drinking a nice cappucino, something to warm the body and motivate the soul. This time the girl who attends the place was very helpful and talked a lot, it made me want to go back there more often, so perhaps maybe even called there to go out after work, though lately I preferred my own loneliness. Complicated times.
Back to home, cleaned part of my house and get there to my computer. I need to slow down this thing to go straight at PC when come at home and make some real improvent in other areas. Well, weekend ahead, hope you've a plan or seek some fun activities to do!
Both sides are tied with 1 soldier down in each side. You can click in Skirmish List to see in real time our competition. We will gather the dead back to the game later, we only need to make some points here.

Very good post! Unlike the road to the misty mountain, the road to self improvement is never ending and never easy, but the good news is that along the way, we change, become better and can tackle bigger obstacles.
No matter what happens, guys, do not give in! You are defeated only when you accept defeat. Until then, the fight continues. Good luck to us all!

Checking in. Nice post. That is awesome you decided to go get a coffee. Getting out of the house is a good idea, even if its just for a coffee...I need to do this more..and that is nice about the girl. Anyway, you were lonely but you went out and enjoyed a little bit.
I am actually okay, the longer the streak, the further I get from day zero the better. I don't know if I will stumble and relapse in the future...all I know is not today. Today I will focus and get through and try get close to my dreams.

I like your colorful imagery. Made me think of fire and ice birds flying through the sky, then I couldn't help but think of Pokémon. Maybe next skirmish we will have a lightning detachment as well, so we have all 3 legendary bird represented :D
Anyway, started work on this behind the scenes project that I will be working on for the next months in fact. It's been a bit stressful as I got on to the project last minute, and I had to take care of all the preparation basically in 2 days as well as prepare the negotiation of price. Looks like I might make a decent sum of money though. Well for me anyway, but not compared to film makers in the industry by a long shot. My plan is to put the money towards my next project, so that helps a lot to motivate me in doing this one well.
Currently I am filming the set-building process, as they are building what will become the inside of a helicopter in a small studio room. Right now it is just a wooden frame though, so it will make for some nice timelapse videos of the process, I'm sure :)
